PrairieGirls

Our Maine Coon ladies enjoy each other's friendship in a pampered environment in our girls suite (linked under Facility).  A supplemented raw meat diet, lots of exercise and individually adequate breedings breaks keep them in TOP shape.

Our extravagant standard for temperamant and quality allows us to only keep the very best for breeding. We presently have three strong and healthy adult breeding females and two half grow girls in our program. Here is Atarah:

Sire: CH Navkatz Mr. BluGenes of Prairiebaby (Blues)

Dam: CH Prairiebaby Praise to the Maker! (Mercedes)

 Color: Blue Tabby

Born: March 26, 2011

Size/Weight: Will be large and substantial!

Temperament: Extremely affectionate and layed back, social, a good team player, melts in my arms, and - just like her brother - really enjoys lap sessions and to be carried around.

I had chosen Atarah already at birth, and she hasn't disappointed me for one minute! She comes from a litter of 6 with exceptional consistency! Atarah is  amazingly even tempered and has really great type for only being an F3. I especially love her masculine head, wonderful large frame and flashy Patina.

Parents: Blugenes and Mercedes

Atarah's sire "BluGenes" was kindly entrusted to us by Ted Kereluk.  Blugenes is basically only 6/7 generations away from the original foundation of the Maine Coon breed. People who have been breeding Maine Coons for many years know that something like this is almost impossible to find these days!  Another great thing is that Blugenes Blue was thankfully saved from the ultimate inbreeding practices we had wittnessed in the late 80s/ early 90s in Europe, done with offspring of the already fairly line bred, gorgeous paternal anchestors.

Bugenes did an incredible job here which we will be forever grateful for. We should mention here that Atarah's grandma is our Canadian foundation female "Canada Graceland" who REALLY has it in her to bring out the best in everything she touches.  Oh, and of course our RW "Tigger" has left his *giant* paw print .. figures! And who would have thought - some of the "Franmar" (high Tati-Tan, an almost instant gum/hip enhancer) stuff in there as well :-)

To show the incredible consistency in this litter, here are a couple of pictures of two of Atarah's sisters Jewels and Shiraz (both are sold). Her brother Blue Moose can be seen on the males page.
