"Blugenes"

Blues was kindly passed down to us by Kerakterkatz in Ontario. We are in no affiliation with his original breeder!

History melancoly! This boy is a gentleman and a true remnant - basicallyonly 6/7 generations away from the original foundation of our breed. Blugenes was thankfully saved from the ultimate inbreeding practices we had wittnessed in the late 80s/ early 90s in Europe, done with offspring of the already fairly line bred, gorgeous anchestors on the sire's side.

Blugenes is a beautiful cat with great type, a color we are way too passionate about and an extremely low COI for regular Maine Coon lines. Further strong points are his very old bloodlines and his wonderful health results. The relatively high Tati Tan content on his mom's side usually adds the good hip/gum factor and also has sentimental value for me.

After a a rather difficult transition at his mature age, Blugenes has now fully adjusted to his new environment. We are excited to have an introverted Maine Coon finally show a bautifully loyal and sweet character.

Temperament: Gentle and meek, great with other cats, very loving and sweetwith people he knows butshy with new situations and people.Size/weight: Medium/Large, 15pounds lean weight, carries really large size!Color: Blue with lake green eyes!
