Paul and Annie Colon from Ontario write:

Judith, What a charmer he is, such a strong personality.  We have now decided to change his name to Staushy. There was no shyness what-so-ever. It took just about 5 minutes to check out his new home, and then started playing immediately.  Staushy is such a dynamic kitten.  He seems to be adjusting very well and in such a short time.  He is eating/drinking well and explores and plays until he falls asleep.  Staushy lets us know when he wants attention or to be picked up.  I love that.  With our Sincerest Gratitude, Annie and Paul

Hi Judith, ….they are doing wonderful, ate food last night when we arrived and 3 meals today, they also went to their litter last night and today and are very playful and affectionate already! I can’t believe how great they are and how gorgeous they are….you, Harvest and Rayn have done an awesome job…a thousand thanks :0). The whole family loves them…my daughter wakes up a bit too early for my liking to see the kittens :0) but that’s fine…she’s been waiting so long! Martin says they will be the best looking cats he’s ever seen! The whole family has fallen in love with them….thank you so much again! Good night! Rachel

Rick Windsor from Thunder Bay, Ontario writes:

Hello Judith, Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon & tour of your excellent facility. Right now, Blue Trio is happily purring laying in his new cat tree (exactly the same as yours).  I ran right out & bought one.  Trio already used his litter box, ate a couple of his dry food and has his raw dinner available for him. Guard Tigger well.  If he disappears....it was Suzannah and he's on his way to Australia. LOL It was a pleasure to meet you & your 2 boys. Thank you for your warm welcome & hospitality. Ric

Hi Judith,   Toby is settling in well.  He is such a beautiful cat and has such an easygoing manner.  I have been so focused on the excitement of Toby joining our family that I've completely neglected how hard it must have been for your family to part with Toby.  We want you to know that Toby will be well loved and we want to assure you that we will take excellent care of him.

Thank you! Jackie

Moreen Newnes from Las Vegas, Nevada writes:

Hi Judith:
Well, I cannot express my gratitude for letting me have one of your kittens, there are no words form me to describe it to you.  He is so wonderful and Doug and I are so happy to have him.  Thanks for his toys!  Pictures do not do him justice - I wanted to send a couple so, you could see he is adjusting quite well - he has his own room until he gets older, but, is only in there when we are out.  I am like a mother hen - and I can tell that he was given so much love at your place!  He purrs when we pick him up and the only word to really describe him is pure SWEETNESS and we melt just looking at him!!

Thank-you so much, Judith!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

friends always, Moreen

picture taken on day 3 at his new home!

In desperation to find a name for this Cookie and after my comments that "Cookie is such a cookie", Moreen writes on day 2: COOKIE is his name!!!  I think that is why we were struggling to find a name, when what he had already was all him.  (The famous race horse helped, hehe!!). I'll update again, soon. cheers, Moreen

Update April 2009: We are doing great and Cookie is growing as you can see in his pictures.  He is a FABULOUS cat and we love him so MUCH!!!!  He is quite a character and a real mush!

Donna Sinitoski from Saskatchevan writes:

Hi there!  Just thought I would let you know all went well at the vet.  Zoe is sure a sweetheart and a little purring machine.  You just walk into her room and she starts her little motor up. haha.  She has such a great temperment!    She is sure a sweetie! I also wanted to mention that you can just tell that she had a superb upbringing before she arrived here!! Thanks so much!!Donna

Elaine Kendall from Winnipeg, Manitoba writes:

Hi Judith....just thought I would send you a note and some pictures to let you know that Macaroon is settling in nicely. Her new name is Xena.  She's been eating well and runs around like a little freight train. She likes to cuddle with me on my chair when I read my paper in the morning. Take care. Elaine

Additional comments: Xena is an absolute little treasure, I love to watch her run around, she is so bubbly and bouncy and rolly polly.  She is constantly purring like a little saw mill.  She weighs about 5 lbs now.  She's a well adjusted, happy, confident little girl.

Xena, Tigger x Prairiepaws .........Not so little anymore.

Update May 2009: Some pics of Xena, watching birds from my bedroom window. She weighs about 14 lbs now (11 months old).

Mira Micin writes:

We just wanted to update you on our little boy. He is absolutely as great as you said he would be..and then some. Thats another thing...he loves to give kisses. If we put our face close to his he will give us licks on the nose and will always try to take our hands when we are petting him to help "groom" us.  Its very obvious to us the ammount of time and love you have put into him for him to grow up with such an affectionate and people oriented nature. I cant express enough thanks to you for this beautiful kitten..inside and out.

Audrey Robertson from British Columbia writes:

Hi Judith,
We are so happy, with these two babies, they are super beautiful!!  Jack seems very outgoing, as I write this he is happily playing with toys, Grace is a little more cautious, and sweet as can be, they both purr when we pet them.  I am so happy it worked out that we got the two of them.  Thank-you Judith for these beautiful babies, and all you did to get them to us.
Thanks  Audrey Mark Candis Allysa & Alexandra

2009 Update:....... Grace is now Fats, because she is a really big girl (last weight 25 Lbs) Jack's nickname is Chinese as in food, as he is our Newfoundlanders play toy and best friend. When the play gets too rough we tell Yoshi NO CHINESE. .............Thanks for the most incredible animals. Mark Robertson

Terri A. Ritter from Brampton, Ontario writes:

Hi Judith, I received Shayla safely from her flight in great care with her favorite toy from her previous home.  I brought her home and opened the carrier in her private room.  She immediately walked out and straight into my lap!  Her purring was soooo loud and she was taking my hands in her paws and licking them.  She cuddled me for at least a half hour.  What was evident to me, in addition to the wonderfully inherent great disposition she has captured from her mother (Ashanti), was the amount of socialization and care she must have received from her previous home.  I feel fortunate to acquire this sweet little girl and am grateful to you both for the ground work that has been put into the fantastic kitty that I now have in my family!! I could not be more grateful to be entrusted with her in my home. Thank-You!!!  Blessings, Terri

Bonnie Camara from Winnipeg, Manitoba writes:

He is still doing great and still the gentlest cat I’ve ever owned, was looking up your website for a friend and thought I’d send you an update. His last weigh in was 18 lbs. – but he is a beauty, you did miss out, much to our delight!!!  In his whole life he has only scratched someone because their foot was in the wrong place and once my daughter for just pushing him waaayyyy too far (and even then it was an accident, he just wanted to get away).  You couldn’t get him to even put your hand or finger in his mouth – makes giving medicine a bit of a challenge, but for nature it is great!

The only health issues Kucha has had is two bladder infections, they were cleared up right away and he still has to be with me all the time.  Just love me and feed me he says! LOL

Thank you for our gorgeous boy!

Cheri Mertesdorf from Texas writes:

"Here is miss blueberry at 14 months I think.  she is a clown and pretty clumsy too.  she will roll on the top of the sofa, start to fall and catch herself just to try and roll again.  Her belly is the light gray and she is beautiful!  I can not say enough about how wonderful my cat is.  “Blueberry” is a true clown and entertains us on a daily basis.  Judith was very helpful in getting me started with my kitten as far as vaccination information, her diet thoughts, cat litter etc.  I am not a breeder nor do I wish to be so I can only guess at how much work and thought has been put into this cat as far as creating the wonderful personality and  the beautiful Maine Coon appearance.  I have owned many a cat so I know that animals like Blueberry do not just happen.  Cheri Mertesdorf "

"Biscotti PP", 2006 Prairiepaws x Tigger

Update May 2009:

Hello Judith, both Biscotti and Boo are doing well. They are super healthy cats, never having had so much as a sniffle in the entire time they have been here.
Boo (who is mostly called Bamboo now) is weighing in at 6 kg and has a
nice shaggy, not-too-long coat as you can see on the easter pic.
Biscotti is already at 8.3 kg (!!!) with a lot more coat, also another
texture, a little less shaggy. She is not fat, she is just HUGE. Avena is 6.9 kg and very heavily boned on quite a normal frame (she does not look big, just like Boo. They are happy and affectionate, and are absolutely never a problem. We love them to bits! regards, and thank you for these amazing girls!

"I just cannot thank you enough for our beloved kitten!  He is, without a doubt, the very best cat I have ever known.  I am so in love with him.  I wish I could explain how much we love him and how much fun we are having with him.  Did I tell you how *HUGE* he has gotten.  I cannot believe how fast he is growing.  He is so smart too. We have him harness and leash trained, sitting, and coming on command.  He's a good boy and a quick study. "

Beth Shoenut from Winnipeg writes:

 "Hello Judith

Caramel is 2 weeks with us. The cats were getting along well before the end of the second week; even more fun these days.  Imagine you are getting equally good reports from the remaining new adoptive homes. We have both remarked at how apparent is Caramel's good upbringing from his behavior. He's still very cuddly but is growing. We have named him "Cyril" (a cat from literature and a name Patrick became fond of) but often call him "Tank". "

Regards, Beth
